Affiliate Disclosure
Some posts on Home Notes contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked as paid links, and every post that may contain them says so at the top, before the first link.
What this means for our recommendations
- Our guides are based on research and common homeowner guidance, not hands-on product testing. When a post is a research-based roundup, it says so.
- We suggest what to look for in a product, so you can choose what fits your home and budget.
- A commission never changes the price you pay.
Our own products
We also link to our own planners in our Etsy, Gumroad and Payhip shops. Those are our products, and we earn money when you buy them.
When one of our pins links straight to an affiliate product, its description starts with "#ad" or "Paid link".
Why we disclose
We follow the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements, which asks for clear disclosure placed close to the recommendation. You can read it in the FTC Endorsement Guides FAQ.
